Oakley's Studio Photo Shoot
Oakley has gorgeous eyes. The camera loves him.
I arranged a special seat for him to sit in, because he liked to lean back on something solid. We figured that out after he knocked down the backdrop several times by trying to lean against the fabric while sitting on the ottoman. His antics gave us the giggles.
Oak leaves for Oakley.
Does it get any cuter than this?

Zip's Studio Photo Shoot
Zip came in full of energy and the more stuffed animals that we threw onto the set, the more relaxed he got.
I've never seen a dog appreciate a pillow as much as Zip.
He even slept on my rain boots.
After his nap, he was ready to play your sport of choice. Soccer, anyone?

Peanut's Studio Photo Shoot
Peanut was a riot to photograph. He was bouncing all over the studio on his pogo stick legs, trying out all the furniture to see what was most comfortable.
All it takes is one Peanut to conquer the king of the jungle.
But Peanut is really a cowboy at heart.

Pickles' Studio Photo Shoot
Pickles is a friendly guy and such a good sport to get dressed up in our silly costumes. It was a pleasure to photograph him.
Special thanks goes to Nicole for playing such an integral role in transporting these rescue animals between the shelter and the studio. I know I am wiped out after photographing just four pups, and Nicole does the majority of the work. She trains them to sit on the sets and gets them to pose. She dresses them and helps switch out back drops and props. We couldn't do it without her.

Libby's Studio Photo Shoot
Even though I'm very tiny, I can be taller when I wear a giraffe costume.

I just wanted to tell a quick story about Libby. While crouching down to photograph her, she ran up to me and climbed into my lap to lick my face. She is light as a feather and the sweetest thing you'll ever meet. If you are just feeling a little blue and need some kisses, head on out to the Douglas County Animal Shelter and Libby will brighten your day.

Buffy's Studio Photo Shoot
The purple backdrop made Buffy's fur look yellow, but she is white. Buffy was a fantastic model, very cooperative and friendly as can be.
